Customs and Import Duties
The price of our products excludes customs clearance fees and import VAT. These additional costs are the responsibility and risk of the customer. The postal and/or courier service uses a special arrangement regarding imports, which means that any import duties and VAT may be collected by the delivery service upon arrival in the EU destination country. This may also apply to deliveries outside the EU.
In accordance with Article 5, first paragraph, of the Turnover Tax Act 1968, the place of supply takes place in the country where the transport begins. If the delivery takes place from a non-EU country, the postal or courier service will collect the import VAT or customs costs from the customer. Travara will not charge VAT in that case.
